One can create banner message files and directory message files with vsftpd. I have been searching trying to find the format for those files without success. For example, some ftp servers can use a .message file format to show the value of variables in the message: cat .message The time is %T. This folder can only be used for uploading files and cannot be viewed. or cat welcome.message Welcome %U from %R to the ftp server. We have %N connections at %T. All activities are logged. Is this possible with vsftpd and if so, would someone please point me to the appropriate documentation? Thanks. -- redhat-list mailing list unsubscribe mailto:redhat-list-request@xxxxxxxxxx?subject=unsubscribe https://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/redhat-list
