Hi Mike >> PermitRootLogin no Done! Now every time I attempt to login using the "-l root" I get a password prompt, but no matter which password I put in it keeps on saying "try again". I'm assuming this is the norm and I can rest easy. If I login using my own login it works fine and I can then 'su' to root.
