I am upgrading from bind8 to bind9, the syntax looks identical, try
re-using the named.conf file and when you start check in
/var/log/messages for errors.

What is difference between Bind 8 and Bind 9.
Can any body send me a (simple) sample configuration file for bind 9.
and how can i check the version of my find installed on my box?
