Re: how to resolve failed dependencies with libc.so.6.1(GLIBC_2.2)

64 bit release. Actually the last package which is giving me problems is:

[root@sandbox root]# rpm -iv openmotif21-2.1.30-8.ia64.rpm
error: Failed dependencies:
        libc.so.6.1()(64bit) is needed by openmotif21-2.1.30-8
        libc.so.6.1(GLIBC_2.2)(64bit) is needed by openmotif21-2.1.30-8
        libc.so.6.1(GLIBC_2.3)(64bit) is needed by openmotif21-2.1.30-8
[root@sandbox root]#
The other packages (compat-....) I was able to locate them and load them through red hat gui package management tool. The openmotif for some reasons I cannot find, and it gives me this dependency error when I try to load it, after downloading it.
Thanks for the help.
