Hi
I was just wondering whether it is expected behaviour for a
.so file to labeled 'AMD x86-64' when I am running on a
Xeon X86-64'. I guess the instruction formats are compatible,
but still...
$ file /lib64/libssl.so.0.9.7a
/lib64/libssl.so.0.9.7a: ELF 64-bit LSB shared object, AMD x86-64, version 1 (SYSV), stripped
$ uname -a
Linux foo.bar.net 2.6.9-5.0.3.ELsmp #1 SMP Mon Feb 14 10:00:21 EST 2005 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux
Best regards,
