My sendmail RPM came from Redhat updates for Redhat 9. You can download it
from here:
ftp://ftp.redhat.com/pub/redhat/linux/updates/9/en/os/i386/sendmail-8.12.8-9.90.i386.rpm

You may also need the sendmail-cf:
ftp://ftp.redhat.com/pub/redhat/linux/updates/9/en/os/i386/sendmail-cf-8.12.8-9.90.i386.rpm

If you install those, you should get a patched version of Sendmail.
