If you do 
$> rpm --changelog -q sendmail | grep CAN-2003-0694

and get a result, you'll see that your version of sendmail is already patched 
for the security flaw that you mentioned. CAN-2003-0694 and CAN-2003-0681 are 
the reference for that patch. For more info :

Bottom line, if you're running:

# rpm -q sendmail
sendmail-8.12.8-9.90

you don't have to worry about that patch. It's already there.
