This is one of the reasons the lists are here.. to get help, those who
find the time to type tripe like "google it" are far better off saving
their energy amd buggering off, because they most clearly have absolutely
nothing whatsoever at all of worth conrtibuting.

I'll put my contributions against your contributions any day of the
week.

Not only did I tell him to google it, I gave him the exact google search
command that gave him the result him. I pointed him to the Red Hat
reference manual that discussed.

I taught him how to do research so that the next time he can find some
answers for himself faster than waiting for responses for the list.

you feed him for life.

You, on the other, contributed only whining in your post. Congratulations.

Your most welcome, I often contribute off list, simply because of flamethrowing fuckwits like yourself with there usleess google it responses, and taught him research, OH? i'm pretty sure he knew google was there before you pointed it out lol

While standing in front of a mirror, please go back and read your first "post". If suggesting someone "bugger off" isn't being a "flame throwing fuckwit" then I don't know what it.

So, unless you really intend to "contribute" on-list as opposed to being a "flame baiter" I submit that you should continue to "contribute" off-list and be happy.

Oh, BTW, I think you may have misinterpreted the message from Shiraz. He was actually "thanking" Ed for his response. You may have read some sarcasm into it that really wasn't there?

While I'm on it.... If an original poster is happy with the response given then even if you are displeased with the responders ways it would be more appropriate for you to point this out to the responder off-list like you keep your contributions.
