I use X-Win32 and do almost the same thing. Or I have one machine that is dedicated as and xserver and I allow XDMCP on it so people can make broadcast connections.

I also use X11 for MacOS X and it works just as good (except for the one button mouse thingie).

I am using exceed as my X server on my MS desktop. I then open an ssh
session on my Linux box and run:

/etc/X11/xdm/Xsession&

Make sure $DISPLAY is set first.

I suggest two solutions:

1) Exceed as X Server for MS Windows

or

2) VNC

Hello,
I have lots of different versions of redhat running on my site
i.e 7.3/8.0/AS/WS and with the introduction of new machines we need a good
way of viewing the actual Redhat Desktop from the our Windows 2000 user
machines. Can you please give me as much advice/info as possible on this
issue.

Regards
