What you have shown does relate to the keyboard...
I would change what you have above to:
Section "InputDevice" Identifier "Keyboard0" Driver "keyboard" Option "XkbRules" "xfree86" Option "XkbModel" "pc105" Option "XkbLayout" "us" EndSection
Restart the X server. A logout may do it...or you may need to logout and then "ctrl-alt-backspace". But if your backspace key is not mapped correctly.... I may opt to restart the entire system....jus to be sure.
