Hi Cyril Many thanks for getting back to me. The permissions etc. on the file are as follows: -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 23 Jul 26 11:05 .htaccess Does this look OK? Apologies - I am VERY new to Linux and am learning as I go. My expertise usually lies with M$ products.
