forgive me, but i just read the manpage and didn't see a clear answer. i
did however, notice the -qf option but i'm not sure if that's where i
should be focusing.

i'm also a little unclear by "you don't want to do this. call sendmail
to do the work." do you mean i should be writing out the entire message
to the command line one at a time (and forget about writing any files)
or do you mean i should still create the files (not necessarily in the
outgoing directory) and then make sendmail aware of them so that it can
process them?
