Hello, I am building a linux (RHEL 3 based) workstation for scientific visualization. I'm rather ignorant in the choices of video card, so I am asking here to see if people have recommendation. A link to a website would also be great. I am probably looking in the price range < $200. The card needs to have: hardware support openGL 1.2 or higher (as much as possible) 128 MB or more memory hardware support for Texture mapping linux compatible (esp. w/ RH and RHEL) Any suggestion is appreciated.
