Ladies and Gents, While in a process of moving a linux box, I would like to move /etc/passwd /etc/group and /etc/shadow to preserve the users. Unfortunately this box is not part of our NIS domain, therefore I can not utilize that resourse. Are there any other files I should be aware...... Whats the best practice regarding moving users between boxes? Any links appreciated.
