Hello redhat-list, Tried to send this to the list for RH 8.0, but that seems out of commission. -----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Hello psyche-list, I understand that Zeroconf capability was added to RH 9.0 and is also in Fedora. Unfortunately, I have a RH 8.0 system that would both be painful to upgrade right now and also could really use the Zeroconf capability (as it is not always on my main net, and sometimes just wants to talk to a Win2KPro box via Ethernet crossover). I've been to the Zeroconf web site, but was hoping for something a bit more "cook book" that would let me (for example) add or modify a couple of network config files and go. Does such a thing exist? Is there maybe a handful of files that could be back-ported to RH 8.0 from Fedora? Has anyone done this? Thanks!
