I did too, so I was surprised when it only works with the serial port.  Call
them up they may have fixed it by now.  I'm only telling you the fact that
it works with the serial port and not the USB port.  Is this a breach of the
statement?  I can only say no it is not, but call their support department
and make your complaint.
