Hi all, Got a quick question. I have a user in a RHEL 3 WS. I want to give him access to another machine running RH 9 and want to let him use the same password he uses for the RHEL machine. But I don't know / don't remember his current password. Can I just copy the line that contains his username in /etc/shadow in RHEL 3 machine, and stick it to the /etc/shadow file in the second machine (RH 9) ? anything else? Thanks. RDB -- Reuben D.
