My laptop doesn't have a serial port and the usb-serial drivers for it aren't up to par. (My system crashes on every other use of my GPS device.) I have a UC-232A based device, which utilized the Prolific pl2303 driver. Instead of trying to debug the pl2303 problem and working with the driver writers (which I could do) I wonder if I can't quickly convert the parallel port to serial, with the help of an adapter. Are there any drivers for this?
