I have a Redhat 9 machine that I'm using for MythTV and everything it working well except for the sound. If I play a CD you would think that the sound is not even working. I plugged in external speakers and had to turn them all the way to get the sound at level high enough to listen to it. I have all the volume controls that I can find up to the max. I'm running KDE. It's using the internal audio on an Intel i810 motherboard.
