Sending tcpdump grep-ed output to file

[crucificator <crucificator@xxxxxxx>]

I want to use grep to filter output of tcpdump file. So I use smth like:

tcpdump host <host> -l | grep "string" >dump.txt
Although the command without >dump.txt  sends output to screen as 
intended I do not get content in dump.txt

What might be the problem? I am at loss here...
