How can I remove incorrect build dependency?

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

Hi,

Whenever I try running up2date I get the following infuriating message:

Unresolvable chain of dependencies:
alsa-kmdl-2.4.20-20.9 0.9.6-1.fr_7.rh9. requires /boot/vmlinux-2.4.20-20.9

However, /boot/vmlinux-2.4.20-20.9 is present on my machine, which leads me to believe that up2date is talking rubbish . Is there a way for me to remove this dependency by hand and force the upgrade to take place?

Thanks for any help,

Mark
