Also quite good is:

A problem with rt is satisfying all the perl dependencies and maintaining 
them through upgrades (RH 9 and apache 2 for example).

I'm currently testing otrs which works out of the box on RH 9:

   http://otrs.org/

looks good (but documentation is not so good).
