Oh Wise Ones, I've installed the 'rusers' and 'rusers-server' on RedH 7.3 and 9. The 'rup' command on the 7.3 machine works like it should, but fails on RedHat 9 machines. The error reads: rup: fubar: RPC: Timed out ...and yes, the rstatd daemon is running. Because this works on RH7.3, I'm assuming this is a bug in the RH9 distribution of either 'rusers' and/or 'rusers-server'. Has anyone else experienced this behavior in RedHat 9? Is there as work-around or patch available? Or, perhaps is this a configuration problem.
