RE: help: x server

the problem is probably due to display misconfiguration as i found the
following kind of lines in the log file
(II) NV(0): Not using default mode "640x512" (hsync out of range)
i reinstalled XFree86 and also tried redhat-config-xfree86, but the
neither helped me.
