Re: 'm trying to set up my cd-rw drive to use ide-scsi emulation. Would someone please list the steps to do so. I know how to edit my lilo.conf if necessary. Am using dev/hdd as my writer and dev/hdc as a read only cdrom.

First make sure your using /dev/hdx instead of dev/hdx x=drive #.
Use hdd=ide-scsi in lilo.conf.
then use cdrecord --scanbus to see what device it is.(ex. 0,0,0).
start cdrecord(cdrecord -v dev=x,x,x speed=4(or whatever) file.iso
or use xcdroast or other burning apps.
