I'm trying to set up my cd-rw drive to use ide-scsi emulation. Would someone please list the steps to do so. I know how to edit my lilo.conf if necessary. Am using dev/hdd as my writer and dev/hdc as a read only cdrom.

thanks....

Firstly - please do not post twice in such quick succession
Secondly - You should know that your mail gets marked as SPAM here because earthlink is defined as an open relay (I actually get a lot of junk from there)

Thirdly - always try going to the Linux Documentation Project for things like this - they have a HOW-TO for this.

http://www.tldp.org/HOWTO/CD-Writing-HOWTO-2.html#ss2.1

I've read through this section and it mention how to set up ide-scsi and such.

Regards,
Ed.
