I have a 3-drive SCSI raid-5 setup on RH 7.1. How would I know if one of
the harddrives went bad if most of my contact with the machine is remote?
If this is built-in Linux software RAID, then try the following from a shell:
# cat /proc/mdstat
What, if anything, does that tell you?
