I have a 3-drive SCSI raid-5 setup on RH 7.1. How would I know if one of the harddrives went bad if most of my contact with the machine is remote?

What software are you using to manage the RAID?
I've never used it under Linux, but I know from my limited NT experience, I could set a mobile/pager number to ring for the server or send an e-mail to me on faults.
