Ok, one of us isn't listening to the other (not sure which). Please clarify which of the following works and which doesn't: - External client makes DNS request. - Internal client makes DNS request. Don't say "packet hits linux server". I know that isn't the problem... clarify which connections actually WORK and which don't. I get the impression you're only feeding me half of the useful information at a time.
