Actually, from the original message, I don't think he wants to change his
shell.  I believe he wants to change the default prompt (PS1 ?).

PS1="\u @ \h \w"
PS1="\u @ \h \W"

\u is username
\h is hostname
\w is full path ( /home/scott/letters)
\W is working directory only (letters)

I don't remember which file it goes in.....
