Thanks Ed for this info. I installed the RPM and I can get info with "getfacl", but I cannot set permissions with "setfacl". Has anyone on this list been able to get ACL to work with the Reiser file system? I cannot set the extended attributes to directories on the ReiserFS. [root@kilroy home]# setfacl -m u:someuser:rwx /home/userdir/ setfacl: /home/userdir: Operation not supported Has anyone had any success with this? Depending on which release of Red Hat Linux you have, you may or may not have ACL support. -- Ed Wilts, Mounds View, MN, USA mailto:ewilts@xxxxxxxxxx Member #1, Red Hat Community Ambassador Program -- redhat-list mailing list unsubscribe mailto:redhat-list-request@xxxxxxxxxx?subject=unsubscribe https://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/redhat-list -- redhat-list mailing list unsubscribe mailto:redhat-list-request@xxxxxxxxxx?subject=unsubscribe https://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/redhat-list
