Spammer Attack on BL Sites?

Hi All,

Are there major DNS root server errors today or are the
spammers attacking bl sites?

I had a user forward a reject a customer sent to his home
account that got rejected from our server by bl.spamcop.net
and when I tried to go to bl.spamcop.net and check it out it
was gone.

For grins I tried nslookup on all 8 bl sites I use in sendmail
and the following are off the air.

Non-authoritative answer:
*** Can't find sbl.spamhaus.org: No answer

Non-authoritative answer:
*** Can't find dsn.rfc-ignorant.org: No answer

Non-authoritative answer:
*** Can't find list.dsbl.org: No answer

Non-authoritative answer:
*** Can't find list.dsbl.org: No answer

** server can't find bl.spamcop.net: SERVFAIL

** server can't find relay.ordb.org: NXDOMAIN

I have reject messages in maillog showing most of these
sites were up and working earlier today.

To eliminate my DNS setup for our office servers, I went on my
system at home which is on a totally different ISP and got
the same response when looking up the above servers.

Any one know what is going on?

TIA,

Mike
