I have the apm daemon stopped, yet this is still happening. Can anyone tell me what the cause of this might be? I cannot find any cron that is supposed to run every 15 minutes (allthough, I don't know of all the places to look).


Check BIOS settings maybe? It definitely looks like something is trying to get the NIC to go to sleep.
