It would appear that RH is not striking out on any new ground. Rather, they 
are resorting to the old "business models" of the proprietary arena and/or 
other failed models. You're right, I've seen a striking resemblance to 
Caldera lately: the abandonment of the end user, for instance, in favor of 
corporate customers. They're EOL policies have been arguably in poor judgment 
too. They seem to be uneasy with the growth they have and are scrambling to 
put a template together to structure their customer base into a revenue 
stream. As such, they are more focused on that template than on the customer. 
This is why a growing number are dishearted not only in the end user base and 
OS community, but those who have been customers. Corporate customers are 
having a hard time with their licensing model, for instance. They seem to be 
taking a "Microsoft Lite" approach to their business model.
