You need to check the sendmail documentation. Look specifically at virtusertable and genericstable. This does mapping for user domains. Basically, they tell sendmail: mail for jdoe@xxxxxxxxxxx give to user jdoe Then for outgoing: when jdoe sends mail, say it's from jdoe@xxxxxxxxxxx This should do it. If you load Webmin, this is done very easily. However, by default genericstable useage isn't enabled in sendmail. You have to add a line to your sendmail.mc file and generated a new sendmail.cf. No biggie, though. <<JAV>> ---------- Original Message ----------- From: "Donald Tyler" <dtyler@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx> To: <redhat-list@xxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Wed, 12 Nov 2003 15:13:06 -0600 Subject: Restricting user to specific domain on multi domain sendmail host > Hi, > > > > Does anyone know how to restrict a user to a single domain when hosting > multiple domains on a single sendmail server? > > > > e.g. > > > > Server hosts: > > > > firstdomain.com > > seconddomain.com > > thirddomain.com > > > > I have a user called "dtyler" who is @ firstdomain.com.
