I've got a RHEL 2.1 install with one nic card. I want to set a 2nd. IP address for this machine. Can someone tell me how this is done? /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts has a file called ifcfg-eth0 Do I somehow create another file called ifcfg-eth0:1 with the 2nd. IP address in it? Will ifconfig -a show me the 2nd. IP address? Thanks much.
