Dualbooting

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

I've never done this myself because all of my machines are dedicated RH machines, however I have a friend who would like to load RH8 and Win2K on the same machine. Win2K on one drive, and RH8 on the other. I'm going to make the assumption that one would install Win2K first, get it up and running and everything, and then install RH8 on the other drive, and use grub for the dual boot menu. Correct? What I don't know is, how to configure grub to see the other OS during its setup, and to add a menu item for it, or is that all done manually? And if so, how to do that?

Any readme, info, or guidance is much appreciated.
