Will it never end. http://fedora.redhat.com that will fix what you are
thinking. Completely free. No more lousy M$ comparisons. Red Hat has
to have a few hostile take overs and breach of contracts first. Let's
not even get into 200+ an hour tech support over at M$. Red Hat cuts us
some deals. ;-)

Subject: RedHat becoming like M$?

Looks like no more free Redhat:
----------
"...will discontinue maintenance and errata support for Red Hat Linux
7.1, 7.2, 7.3 and 8.0 as of December 31, 2003," that "Red Hat will
discontinue maintenance and errata support for Red Hat Linux 9 as of
April 30, 2004," and that "Red Hat does not plan to release another
product in the Red Hat Linux line."
----------
After you'll have to pay big $ .
No more opensource.
