Hi Guys , Off late , I have noticed that my system has become very slow . I have GNOME desktop environment as my default environment . I do not have many services on . Any application , as small as a Konsole takes ages to open
Some of my friends have noticed problems that look to me like memory leaks in Xft2. Do you log out on a regular basis? Do things improve if you log out, and log back in? Does 'top' show any very large processes if you sort by memory use?
