Is there anyway to determine what Kernel options are compiled in a running kernel ?
I wanted to know if I used RPM to download and install a current Kernel that the following Ethernet card would work ? Not sure if its compiled into the Kernel or as a module
Broadcom Gigabit Ethernet Driver bcm5700 with Broadcom NIC Extension (NICE) ver. 4.0.2 (09/18/02) divert: allocating divert_blk for eth0 PCI: Assigned IRQ 11 for device 03:06.0 eth0: Broadcom BCM5701 found at mem fcf10000, IRQ 11, node addr 00065b8c79a2 eth0: Broadcom BCM5701 Integrated Copper transceiver found eth0: Scatter-gather ON, 64-bit DMA ON, Tx Checksum ON, Rx Checksum ON, 802.1Q VLAN ON
Thanks
Have you tried using lsmod to show what modules are loaded?
