Part of this is done by changing settings in sendmail.mc but I don't remember the specifics. Make sure you have the sendmail-doc package installed and read that, or check at www.sendmail.org. Also make sure you check the list archives, since I'm sure you aren't the first person to try this.


- allow sending messages only if the sender OR the
recepient is a user on the server.

This is achieved quite simply with SMTP AUTH. See my HOWTO for this at:
