Thanks for the correction.

Yeps really. I've used KDE and GNOME but when I load to many apps or when
I run simulation programs, they just hang and I've to resort to xkill!

E is a real full-fledge window manager not a theme! Please don't play with
words. ;-) It's not a desktop shell in the full sense of the word since it
is rather new compared to other d. shells.

Right now it supports fully KDE and GNOME apps.

Desktop shell means that it will add more stuff like Entrance (to replace
gdm!). Entrance is going to outrun
gdm. Check Entrance out! (http://xcomputerman.com/pages/entrance.html)

And things like Evidence will replace nautilus.

Every program has to evolve. Right? Even in it's immature stage, it looks
far more promising than KDE or GNOME.

I will let E speak for itself. Download E16 and feel the power of an
eye-candy and robust window manager.

Download Evidence and see how far ahead nautilus it is.

Check Evas (especially hardware acceleration) and read some review on
E17. E17 will beat them all.

In order to convince yourself. Go into SF and download the rh9 rpms. And
see for yourself. Then you can come back and tell us.
