yup. a classical typo, maxwell-street.com is the right one. I have however now also tried postfix, but the same result there... postfix can not deliver since it can not resolve my hostnames.... strange but true. As stated before, all other commands issued from the prompt will work nicely with name resolution, ping/dig/telnet/.... Is there any separate access-file/restriction controlling name resolution in RH9? I have just setup a RH7.3 installation, and all is well there, with the same configuration. //Krister -----Original Message----- From: MKlinke [mailto:mklinke@xxxxxxxx] Sent: den 29 oktober 2003 15:13 To: redhat-list@xxxxxxxxxx Subject: Re: RH9 and sendmail... It doesn't have a legal TLD whereas maxwell-street.com does: # host maxwell-street.com maxwell-street.com has address 217.215.51.189 Regards, Mike Klinke -- redhat-list mailing list unsubscribe mailto:redhat-list-request@xxxxxxxxxx?subject=unsubscribe https://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/redhat-list Confidentiality Notice: This e-mail transmission may contain confidential or legally privileged information intended only for the individual or entity named in the e-mail address.
