hi...

hey.. if i'm running a data center and i want to install OS/apps on 50-100
machines. are there Open Source apps that i can look into that would allow
me to more or less do a massive remote deploy of various OS as well as
applications. i'd also like something that would handle windows OS/apps.

basically, i'm thinking of a web based app, that would allow me to specify
the machine/IP, the OS, and the apps that are to be installed. the app would
then clean the server, install the OS, as well any apps that have been
specified. the OS/apps that are to be installed would be from hard drives.
all the servers on the system would be connected via a LAN....

we've looked at freshmeat/google/etc... with no real luck....

there has to be an app, or multiple apps that do parts of what i just
described!

any ideas/pointers/assistance would be helpful...
