I have a CM8738 (rev.10) based soundcard installed on my system, along with a prism2.5 based wlan card. My problem is whenever I play music from xmms or rhythmbox, networking stops -- that is, data transmission stops, until I stop playing sounds. I can leave whatever application I'm using (xmms, rhythmbox) open, and as long as I pause or stop playback, networking is fine. Playing CDs does _not_ have the same effect.
