Hello all: I just upgraded my server to RH9 from RH7.2, and when I run up2date, the console turns blue and hangs. The following process is running, and if I kill it, I get my console session back: root 1320 1137 3 16:21 pts/0 00:00:00 /usr/bin/python -u /usr/sbin/up2date --nox I have the following packages installed: root@yoda::/home/bwebber =>rpm -qa | grep up2date up2date-3.1.23.2-1 root@yoda::/home/bwebber =>rpm -qa | grep rhn rhnlib-1.0-4 root@yoda::/usr/sbin =>rpm -qa | grep python python-popt-0.8.8-7.x.2 python-optik-1.4-2 python-xmlrpc-1.5.1-7.x.3 python-2.2.2-26 rpm-python-4.2-0.69 The server does not have X installed. I checked in /etc/sysconfig/rhn and none of the files there have been altered. Any idea why this does not work?
