Got this when I ran your advice .........I guesee I could run em again and
compile with gcc right ? :)

*** Could not figure out which C compiler was used to compile
/usr/bin/openssl. It is essentiall that OpenSSL, perl, and Net::SSLeay are
compiled with the same compiler and flags. Mixing and matching compilers is
not supported. at Makefile.PL line 140.

Writing Makefile for Net::SSLeay::Handle
Writing Makefile for Net::SSLeay
make: *** No rule to make target `1'. Stop.
  /usr/bin/make 1 -- NOT OK
Running make test
  Can't test without successful make
Running make install
  make had returned bad status, install seems impossible

Goto CPAN with:

# perl -MCPAN -e shell

cpan> force install Net::SSLeay

and it will override the error.
