NFS is quite easy to set up. Here is a good HOWTO on how to do that.

If you are unfamiliar to TCP/IP networking I suggest you find some
TCP/IP HOWTO:s also. A good place to start looking is the Linux
Documentation Projects site.

That should get you started.
