As a debian and Redhat users I have 2 main comments.

Debian seems so much faster, even on slower hardware. Do other people
thing that Redhat seems to be less optimized? I am just a linux newbie
myself but the speed is very noticable.

Apt. Apt-get just works so well. Automagically resolving dependencies
and installing etc, that RPM just too difficult.

If debian was more learner friendly on installs and support hardware
easier, I think I would switch.

As well, I think this on topic as it has to be the users driving the
development. Isn't open source about learning and building upon work of
others? IF we want something in Redhat from other software, where else
would we discuss it?
