Has anyone been successful in bringing up RH7.2/7.3 on a mirrored hard disk server?

I have a dual Xeon server with a Promise RAID controller (Promise 
FastTrack1000 TX2). I have two hard drives which are set up in RAID1 
configuration (mirrored). I have followed the ATA RAID HOWTO guidelines 
to install RH7.2. So far I have not been able to get the server to boot 
off of the hard disk. I can boot it from the boot floppy. Has any of you 
been successful in installing RH 7.x on such a configuration? I would 
appreciate very much if you can share all the "gotchas". I have tried 
the RedHat support but to no avail.
